The success of the Capital Sports Information Department relies heavily on its student staff. The 2016-17 staff includes:

If you would like to be added to a mailing list to receive official Capital Athletics news releases, please send your request to Sports Information Director, Ryan Gasser. Please indicate your media agency and if you would like to be added to a general mailing list for all news or a sport-specific list.
If you would like to be taken off a list, please send the sports information office an email indicating so.
Media Credentials - All credential requests should be forwarded to Sports Information Director, Ryan Gasser. Credentials are limited to professionals working in the print, broadcast, or electronic media, and their issuance is at the discretion of the sports information director. Please make requests for credentials at least three days in advance of game day.
Player/Coach Interviews - The Sports Information Department serves as the main liason between the media and Capital's student-athletes, coaches, and staff members. Media requests following athletic events, coaches and players are subject to a 10-minute cooling off period, per NCAA guidelines. All requests must go through a representative of the Capital Sports Information Department, or an approved Capital University representative. Coach or student-athlete contact information will never be distributed, unless permission is given.
Visiting Radio - Please contact the Capital Sports Information Department at least three days in advance of the game which you would like to broadcast. Phone lines, LAN lines, and/or wireless access are available at the Capital Center and Bernlorh Stadium at no charge, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Photography - Photography is permitted with approved media credentials at all Crusaders athletics events. Photographers shooting from playing field level must make the sports information department aware of their work and must follow all NCAA guidelines concerning in-game athletics photography. Please be advised that photographers assume all risk if entering the playing area of an athletic event.
Image requests - If you would like to obtain an image seen on the Capital Athletics website or any of its social media accounts, please contact the CU Sports Information Department for arrangements or contact info of photographers. All images used must be given proper photo credit.
"Crusaders" - When referencing to Capital University athletic teams, please refer to them as the "Crusaders". The use of the term "Lady Crusaders" or anything of the like, is unacceptable. Other references that are acceptable are Capital Athletics, Cap, or The Purple and White.
Live stats will be provided by the Capital Sports Information Department for most home games. Live stats for away contests will be provided by the host institution, if they are provided. Links for Capital University live stats can be found below.

The Capital Sports Information Department provides live video and/or audio services to many of its varsity programs when weather and scheduling conflicts do not arise. Visit each team's respective schedule to view individual games that will have broadcasts. Video and audio services for select home events are produced through BoxCast and are run by the sports information staff with help from student assistants.
Capital University embraces and encourages engagement through the use of social media. Crusader Athletics has created an official Facebook page, Twitter handle, and YouTube page and cosponsors an Instagram account with the University so that fans and supporters can keep tabs on all Capital athletic teams. The social media hub serves as a one-stop shop for access to all social media accounts. ~ Social Media Hub ~
