SPORTS INFORMATION - Graphic Design Specialist
Capital Athletics is looking for creative individuals that are well versed in creating graphics to tell a story or highlight teams/individuals.

The Capital University Sports Information Department seeks highly motivated individuals that are interested in serving as an intern for the 2019-20 academic year. Start/end dates, and hours are flexible. Should be available on nights and weekends for athletic events.
The individual will also be afforded the opportunity to plan sports information tasks for the 2019-20 year and beyond, write press releases, broadcast (if desired), perform game day event operations, as well as learn various StatCrew and Genius LiveStats systems per their experience level. Additional projects may include marketing and promotion idea generation, Hall of Fame data collection, website and graphic design, or video editing - per experience level and interests.
Candidates with experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere are preferred, but not required.
SPORTS INFORMATION ASSISTANT
The successful candidate will work alongside the sports information director to positively promote Capital University Athletics’ 20 varsity teams and engage its supporters, fans and student-athletes. The candidate will serve as the primary contact for multiple programs and aid with in-game operations for various sports.
Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, statistics entry, news release and feature story writing, plus create and manage of website content (athletics.capital.edu). He or she will create printed and digital assets, contribute to a strong digital presence through video, social media and graphic design, and assist in the management of student office and game day staff. Evening and weekend work is required. Hours will fluctuate. Start date is tentatively set for mid-August.

WOMEN'S SOCCER (COACH)
The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach in various aspects of the program with responsibilities including coaching, practice organization and implementation, game day responsibilities, recruitment, video analysis and scouting, equipment control and inventory, and social media. Applicant also must have a good driving record and able to drive a 12-passenger van. Evidence of specific sport experience (playing and/or coaching) is required.
