COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and Capital University Football will be revisiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the conference's annual Football Media Day on Thursday, July 26, 2018.

The first glance of football season will allow all 10 OAC member schools to present its top players and head coach to the media at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. OAC Commissioner Tim Gleason will begin the event with opening remarks and transition into coach addresses and student-athlete podium interviews.

While players and coaches take to the podium each institution will present one player for the OAC's preview video, broken down team by team. That video will be made available online before the end of July.

This year Capital University will be represented by senior wide receiver Dartavious Stanford (Zanesville, Ohio/Zanesville), senior quarterback Thomas Wibbeler (Zanesville, Ohio/Zanesville) and third-year head coach Chad Rogosheske.

Wibbeler, entering this third year with the Crusaders, comes off his best season with Capital after tossing for 2,813 yards, 281.3 yards per game, and 29 touchdowns to just nine interceptions. He tied a school record for most touchdown passes in a single game (6) and with his season numbers was named Second Team All-OAC.

Stanford, now in his second year with the Crusaders, became just the fifth Capital wide receiver to hit 1,000 or more receiving yards in a single season by recording the second-most in program history and the most since 1987 (1,119). His 12 touchdown catches tied for second-most in a single season in Cap history. Last year he earned First Team All-OAC laurels, becoming the first to do so since 2011.

Coach Rogosheske enters his third season and comes off a 1-9 campaign overall in 2017.

Capital's coverage of OAC Football Media Day can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat (@CapCrusaders) throughout the course of the day and will include sit-downs with Wibbeler, Stanford, and Coach Rogosheske. #OACMediaDay
