Crusaders Establish a Good Foundation for the Season at Quaker Open

WILMINGTON, Ohio– Capital University Men's Cross Country started their 2019-20 season off at the Quaker Open, competing against the University of Mount Union, Marietta College, Wilmington College, Earlham College, and Mount St. Joseph University. 

The Crusaders placed fifth overall with a combined score of 123 and a total time of 1:27:56. Junior, Jonas Pyle lead the pack for the Crusaders with a time 17:14.2. Pyle placed 20thout of total 82 runners. 

The crusaders had five runners place in the top half for this meet. Next up the Purple and White will head to West Virginia to compete in the Bethany Invitational on Sept. 7.
