CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Capital University Women's Cross Country was one of 40 schools that competed in the All-Ohio Championships on Friday and finished 28th overall.
Finishing first for Capital was Hannah Westhoven (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon), who completed the 6K course in 23:09.7. This is the first time this season Westhoven has finished first for the Crusaders.
Behind Westhoven in second place for Capital was Mackenzie Meyers (Ashville, Ohio/Teays Valley) with a time of 23:32.8.
Rachel Rus (Highland Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) was the third Crusader to cross the finish line, stopping the clock at 25:52.4.
Larkin Joseph (New Philadelphia, Ohio/New Philadelphia) finished the race in 26:38.5 for fourth on the Capital squad.
The fifth and final Crusader to finish was Alaina Miller (Baltimore, Ohio/Liberty Union Thurston) with a time of 26:47.5.
Capital Women's Cross Country is off until Oct. 13 when it will compete in the Jenna Strong Invitational hosted by Wilmington College.
