COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University head softball coach Nan Payne has announced five different youth softball camps and clinics to be held this June.
Camps will be made available to girls entering grades 4-12 (unless otherwise noted), as of Fall 2015. Enrollment is limited in order to provide quality instruction to all participants.
Day Camp will be held June 8-10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp will include instruction in all phases of the game including infield/outfield work, hitting and bunting fundamentals, pitching technique, and skill development for catchers.
The Advanced All-Skills Camp will be available to girls entering grades 9-12 and will be held on June 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Multiple specialized clinics will be available on the evenings of June 10, 11 and 16. A hitting, bunting and slapping clinic will be held on June 10, a throwing and defense clinic on June 11, and a catching clinic on June 16. All evening clinics will be held from 6-8:30 p.m.
All camps will be held at Bernlohr Stadium on the campus of Capital University.
